Default End of year factory clearance?

Im just looking for the hive opinion as should I wait till Jan 1 07 to see if there is a clearance offering from Kawasaki to clear the old models?

The best price I got for a 07 (10/06) KLX was 4354 +tax & reg The dealer even said he had one in the box that he would set up for me as opposed to the one on the floor. Should I be concerned about the date of mfg in regard to any recalls on this bike? I remember a recall about some welding issues?

V,Where did you get your quote? Tornos in lebanon maine sells their 07's for $4354. everyday OTD price, so your price is probably the best you'll find here in New england. Just sign and ride bro

I wouldn't worry about the recall. If I had read it correctly, if your bike had the defective weld your whole bike would be replaced with a new one. As far as clearance pricing it depends on the dealer and what kind of demand there is for the bike in your area. I had found a leftover 06 (in 1/07) when I was looking at a dealer hopeing to get a leftover discount. The price they gave me on it was only $100 less than an 07 at my local dealer. Needless to say I got the 07.

There are factory to dealer rebates to help clear off old inventory. That is how I got my left over '06 for $3660.

How do I find out about these incentives? I don't mind waiting till Jan but I would kick myself if I can save up to $500 on the bike!

talked to a dealer yesterday. They have a left over '06 model and advertised priced at at $4,175 + tags tax etc. They said there are no rebates or help from the manufacturer.
Pretty disappointed, they didn't even budge at all.

Watch ebaymotors. I got a great deal on a brand new 2007 model from White Knuckle Motorsports in Springville, UT. OTD for $3547. I paid around $200 in Arizona for tags and "use tax".
