The 042362 is the Powercore 4 for the 2018 and the 042363 is the Q4 for the 2018. 2 different mufflers.

The old part numbers are 042340 for the Powercore 4 and 042341 for the Q4.

Got a response today but not what I wanted to hear. Hopefully it was just a generic response. It said they had done dyno testing but would not be sharing the results publicly. It also said it made more of an improvement both in hp and torque than the old pipe made on the carbeurated bike. But it ended with most bikes gain 2-4% depending on the application. That's what a whole 1/2 hp? Lol.

Woah! That will really pull your arms out of their sockets!

Seriously though, maybe if it is applied throughout the rev range, you might feel a bump. I'm willing to give it a try.

Spoke to Dynojet today about the PCFC. At this time they do NOT have any maps for the 2018 KLX250s.

Guys, we already know about what mods to what to power levels.. We just don't know how to get the EFI to provide a "verified good" fueling scheme for the best mod combos.. Someone is going to have to put on a tuner, full FMF system (preferably with the Megabomb instead of the Powerbomb), pull the lid off the airbox, and dyno test various settings on the tuner until WOT fueling is correct ( 12.8 : 1 ) .. The end result should be at least 24 hp..

what tuner should get used when doing this? I plan on ordering everything in the next couple of weeks and taking it to a local shop to do the time. My original plan was to have them do it without a programmer off possible but after reading through a few threads I think I'll go this route! Going to have a o2 bung welded on to my 2 brothers slip on and if what I read was correct order the megabomb header this week.

The Dynojet PCFC that KLxster pointed out appears to be the only one available for now.

A dyno shop will need to be found - one that is willing to dyno tune with the PCFC. Finding one that'll do that may not be easy.. BUT this will be mandatory if you are going for 24+hp (megabomb + 2bros AND with the airbox lid removed.) as the airflow through the engine is radically increased.. They will need to insure that WOT AFR stays between 12.5 and 13.0 AND give you SAE power charts and the AFR chart..
