dynojet kit for 351
I don't think the DJ kit will have a large enough main jet in it for the BB. You should look into Bakes posts to see what he's running for jetting first before you buy anything.
Actually maybe you should contact Bill to see if he can set you up with what you'll need.

both kits offer the same range of main jets. Neither kit offers a pilot jet.
The 300 kit offers a drill for the slide while the 250 kit offers no drill bit but has a spring. The number for the needle differs between the 2 kits as well, so they are different sizes.
Does the 2009 have a hole that needs to be opened up? Or did the 2009's come without that hole??
I haven't ripped it open yet,,,, yet,,,, getting anxious to make some power!!!

351, FMF Q4 full system, no-toil foam filter, no airlid.. Stock pilot jet, fuel screw somewhere between 1 & 2 turns out I think. Bike runs great, if anything can probably go one jet leaner, but I want to get to a dyno with A/F sniffer before trying that. It's safe and reliable right now.
300 kit (2206) would be the go as the different needle has a more aggressive taper in the last 1/3 giving more gas in WOT.
Start rich (DJ #132 main) and work your way back, as you're at sea level.

Is there a bog at all from off idle?
I know this is not a pumper carb, but,
I'm running Kehein jets in the stock carb. (cheapskate
) #138 main and #38 pilot with the AUS stock N1RX needle raised 1.5 mmm. Gutted KLX300R "high flow" airbox with KX500 Twin Air filter and no air box lid. Two Brothers M7 pipe (no spark arrestor) on stock KLX300R header (welds removed.) Kouba fuel screw for quick adjust' when I hit the hills.
Goes like a raped ape and certainly no bog .
