Default Dyno jet kit

I am going to order a Dynojet kit for my 2009 KLX250SF,why are there two different part#??.I know i should order the one for the SF,but just wondered as I thought the KLX250S and the SF were the same motor.

2152 was the kit I used for my S model and the motors are the same. I've seen people post that a kit for the 300cc bike has a better needle but I have no complaints as the kit did everyting I could hope for on my bike anyway.

Yeah, I don't know why they have a different part #.

I don't think you can go wrong with either kit. I believe the one for the SF even has the same jets and what not. One kit uses a different spring, and one uses a drilled slide hole.

Take your pick

Don't overthink it, buy the kit for your bike. If you think DJ made an error then call them.

The #2206 is the one for the 300cc KLX that also works on the KLX250 and has a more aggressive needle (from what others have said here). It works for me. I believe others here have put it in the 2009+ models.
