Ah, I didn't realize they didn't come with the heat shield and foam. That kinda sucks. But both seem easy enough to DIY a solution as you did.

I missed that part and tend to agree with you. I'm betting local constabulary would find it a bit more expensive than the cost of a side cover if they catch someone on a designated walk way.

2010 KLX250S Plastics

I've got some plastics for sale if you still need some.

Stock seat foam and seat concepts cover.

Plastics are scratched but no cracks or warp.

Hey. Would sm plastics fit an s model? And how could i determine if the 2018 grey "digital camo" panels might fit my 2009 s model? I might visit a dealer and see if anyone there has a clue, but until then... opinions,theories, direct experience?
