Like I said, you have a super moto for asphalt. The 250s is a dirt bike used for trails.

These are what I run on my 650 super moto, they are good on dirt. They have large solid lugs and on pavement are almost as good as standard road tires.

The S wheels are 21" front, 18" rear.
The SF wheels are both 17". I think you can get the Shinkko 244 in the sizes you need. There is a picture around here somewhere that shows a gnarly-tired SF.

This changes everything! Go with some avon distanzias and call it a day. Wear great (have 4k on mine with little to no wear after backing it in burnouts etc..) and have good traction in the dirt. I take them in gnarly places I probably shouldn't be taking them and haven't had a problem

Avon distanzia for dirt? these are 90/10 (street/dirt) at best.
great tire for the street, but good luck with any offroad stuff.
Kenda 270 is 50/50 tire...but i think it more of a 20/80 (street dirt).

I def want more of a street tire. But, I want enough for the dirt to get through graval/dirt roads that never got to get paved.

I don't know about those 270's, I had one 20 yrs ago that had that same tread pattern & they had a lot of squirm. I would think in the dirt that would be ok, but on pavement, I like a solid feeling tire.
I looked at those distanzia, & the tire they have that would be good would be the Avon Gripster Tire Combo. They look very similar to my heidennue's. Those do not squirm on the pavement at all.

How are the michelin AC-10's on pavement? Also, does anyone know a good place to get a set of wheels? And are they the 21" and 18" wheels that fit the dirt bike models (250F, 450F, etc) or are the wheels for the 250s a different size?
