Just did a bit of "google". Stock tire on the '07 (and probably '06; searched only '07) was the Dunlop 603, which was quite similar to the 605. Maybe some dealers were bumping up the spec to the 606, or the factory ran low on 603s and subbed the 606. Some were lucky I'd say.

I'd say 60/40, no way are they close to 90/10

I, personally, feel that they are more of a 90/10 (street/dirt). They were pretty good on the street, but not good on the dirt/gravel/rocks/mud. I took them off within a month of having the bike and put the Shinko/Golden Boy 244's on.

Also, found a good side-by-side pic of Kenda K270 and Shinko 244's: Side-by-side pic of Kenda K270 and Shinko 244 - ADVrider
Contrary to what I stated before they are clearly different tread patterns, but are still quite similar - enough that you could easily confuse the two without them side by side.
My stock tires look nothing like that... It's a brand new bike I bought at the retailer. It has street tires on it..Like, sports bikes almost.

If you don't have a 21" front wheel, you have a super moto 250sf, not a 250s.

You have a super moto, my recommendations is using Heidenew tires. If you can get them in your size.
