Hmmm how about something like Iowaguy...The no holding back, shooting from the hip, telling you like it is, love to hate him and hate to love him, ***** of PWI

Someone else will have to come up with a Signature picture, I'm not good at that.

Note to Iowa if you like it then cool, if you don't I was just kidding.[8D] Remember I am a mod so I have to sort of keep a neutral position But I thought it was clever.

Let me state that any drz that is pushing mid 50's horsepower will have a lot more maintence, lower longitivity, and not as bulletproof as a stock motor. You also forget IG that for every pound of junk you shave off of the drz to get the weight closer to the klx, the klx has the same amount of junk toremove(maybe more) to get the weight even lower. And by the way maybe notwhen the drz was released but in todays market, compared to the high end 4 stroke enduro bikes available(the japs and the euro's)the drz is just as much a novice bike as the klx is. The offroad versions don't even have pumper carbs anymore.

what do you know about shaving weight off a DRZ? tell me what you can take off and what it weighs in at...EXACTLY. Because you know what? I happen to know andC You keep forgetting though that it still makes twice the horsepower of the KLX250 which you're comparing it to, and it weighs in exactly the same. You are talking about the off-road version which can be plated in most states.

Do a search on thumpertalk.com, look up a guy named Eddie and see what he has to say about his DRZ which makes over 56 horse. He'll tell you just what I did. I challenge you to argue with him. You think Brian is intelligent? Well................look up Eddie.
Ya, your not doing the IG math, let me help.

First you compare a dirt only bike, the DRZE, to the full DOT dual sport the KLX-S.

Second you claim they weigh the same.

Third you MAGICALY make the DRZE street legal without the addition ofan ounce.

Fourth,"Because you know what? I happen to know and I can tell you for a fact that it is a lot more than you can take off a KLX-S." Just pure bull ****.

Fifth, since in IG math the bike is always parked in the garage, actual mass is all that matters, not where it carries it like what matters to peple who actually ride their bikes.

Sixth, as long as were convertingbikes, everyone knows the DRZE would be the first choice over WRs, KLXs, CRFs, ETC.

I still remeber the "removed seat strap, rear fender, & blinkers...20 lbs of crap" DRZ signature, Ya its IG math alright.

Please tell me IG "EXACTLY" where in my post did I compare the drz to the klx. I was just stating some facts. I also have removed probably 20lbs of "crap" from the klx. And in a lot of states people have a hard time plating an off road bike, so comparing the 2 is BS. If you want to compare the off road version to something why don't you go on to a wr forum and explain to them just how much betterand how the drz makes so much more power than awr400f.(which is what you should be comparing the drz to) I am sure they would love to hear about. Here are some horsepower numbers from dirtbike just so you don't have to look for them.http://www.dirtbikemagazine.com/detail.asp?id=127

Typical strawman fallacy argument. He think's we're all A.D.D. (No offense to anyone with A.D.D. )
