Default Doing a 351

I am just about to order a 351 kit from Bill Blue, is there anything tricky about the job? Or is it pretty straight forward? Thanks

It's straight forward. Remove old cylinder and piston, replace with new.
Done.

Should take you 15-30 minutes.

That depends on your skill level.
The kit does not come with instructions , you use the manual. Have you looked at the installation threads here on KF? If not use the search and look at how others have gone about it.
It's not hard, but you need to have the manual, the right tools, some patience, and you need to keep everything clean and organized. It was my first time digging into an engine, I took it slow, did all the above suggestions, and even posted pics for guys like you. Mine came out great.
One important thing is when you think you have it all put back together right, turn it over at least four times with a socket wrench before you try starting it with the E-start.

If you can follow instructions, and are careful not to drop anything down into the abyss of doom (the engine case), it's not difficult. The wrist pin retaining clips were the hardest thing for me. Timing is extremely important, but, that's just following directions. You must have an accurate, appropriate sized torque wrench, and know how to use it....again...follow instructions.

Yep...I doubt I'll get rid of it until the day I quit riding!

Here's one thread for the 351 install: https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...ght=armycopter
