I can't find anything specific in the forum to Trailtech Vapor installs for an 06. Just want to know what I'm going to have to modify if I get this speedometer.

It's there somewhere, 'cause I recall reading it before putting in mine. Short answer: partially. Stock speedo cable will go away and you'll get a plug to put in the empty hole on the front wheel hub. The two Vapor tach wires will connect to 2 of the 3 stock tach wires. If you want to use temp gage, you'll have to install a temp sensor somewhere. If you want the dash with neutral, high beam, blinker, temperature lights, you'll have to find those in the wiring harness - but better yet, just take the lamp sockets right out of the stock instrument panel and insert them into the Vapor dash - they fit right in.

Here's how the water temp sensor fits in the line on the driveside of the engine. IMO this is one of the most valuable elements of the Vapor and other Trailtech models that have a temp guage. This thing really lets you see how your engine is running under stressful conditions.
