I've been looking at these too. Kindof strange looking for sure, but might look cool in the end. Anyone seen one on our bikes?

 

What does ..bump.. mean?

 

I've seen people do it when they revive old threads. Not my idea, I'm a follower gerry

While it looks neat and I believe is street legal, check the bulb ratings. Most likely 35 watt halogen flood on one side and a spot on the other. Last I read those type of lights were the same as what is in ceiling canister type lights and they are low voltage bulbs you can get at home depot.

 

So probably not enough light eh? It is DOT approved so it can't be all that bad. I also dont really ride the bike at night because thats when the retards are out.

 

I could picture that looking much... less plain, than stock. Probably lighter too. When I get all the stuff I bought so far paid off, I'll look into cosmetic mods. Until then I'll haveto make do I guess

 

Well I broke and bought one (cyclops). Should have it by next week, might even put it on before I go to Maui. Something tells me that it doesnt look big enough to cover up all of the guts behind the headlight, but we'll see. I'll take pics.
