Im having sum dificulty finding a cheep klx300 header for my klx250, found one but the guy isnt sure what its off, Id like to know what the diffrence is in the pipes, the OD on mine is 32mm (1-1/4),as far as i know its the standerd item. Its a new zealand/ australian model, if thats any help

If the bike IS an AUS/NZ model then the header is already a KLX300R part.

 

Thats what im trying to know for sure WestOzKLX. As far as I know it was brought new in NZ. But you never know. anyone got the OD mesurement of there stock header????

 

Just had a rough measure for ya. It's about 42 mm internal diameter. Mine is KLX300R for sure.

i can get you a measurement when I get home in a couple of hours. i have stock of each sitting on a shelf at home.

 

That's it.
The only difference is the end, which (300) accepts 1 1/2" pipe with the fiber 'donut'.

 

Thanks guys, sumtimes the simplest things can be hard to find out. Iv found a 300 header im going to use with my 300 pipe. Cheers
