Hi, I have a KLX250E frame number: Lx250e008407. What is the difference from mine to any other KLX250 and especially the KLX250S.
The reason for my question is that I need a new exhaust/muffler, but when you search eBay, all of the aftermarket mufflers seems to be for the KLX250S. Will they fit on my KLX250E??

First question I'd have is where you are and what year is the bike? Looks like the E was not in the U.S. Still I am betting on the pipes swapping out since the 300 seems to bolt on any of the KLXs to date.

 

Hi, it's a 1995 from Denmark. I'm don't know the 300, don't think we got it in Europe, but for me all the four stroke klx's looks the same :/

 

1995 KLX250R in the U.S. I don't think it was street legal. Bored out to 300 a few years later.

 

I have a full exhaust from a '90's vintage klx 250(r model perhaps) on my '09 250s. Bolted right up, with slight hole elongation needed on one spot. The numbers stamped on the muffler look the same as klx 300.
