Diddy bag / gear pack

Diddy bag / gear pack
I've been looking for a pack that will fit on my rear rack to carry stuff like tire repair kit and other misc. items. Don't like the hard cases because they look too bulky and breakable.
I found a Maxpedition Versapack that looks like it might fit perfectly and be easily removable. It's not made specifically for bikes but it looks like it with "convert" between bike n hike. Maxpedition makes all sorts of cases and packs and the two I already have are great quality and are built to take extreme punishment.
Being "flexible" a couple of bungee cords will keep down any unused bulk and snug up whatever is inside. Even better I get them wholesale!! I'll let you know how it works out when I get it.
I still have to figure out how to carry a couple of fishing rods.

I use this for my "man purse". I've carried it on occasion, and it's not bad. There's a nice "hidden" pistol pouch that allows for a quick draw and EASY concealment.
I've yet to use mine on my motorcycle though. I use the Versi-Pack Jumbo!

I have a fatboy versapack (manpurse) and a jumbo (middle and right inyour picture) I carry depending on how much crap I need with me. The one in the original post is symetrical so it looks like it will fit on the rack nicely and probaly have more room than I need most of the time. It has alot of compartments and a large "dry" storage area. If I use it to carry fishing tackle I can just unstrap it and off I go.
I ordered a couple of take down pack rods today too. 6' 6" that break down to 4 pieces about 18 - 20 inches long.
Now where do I hang a livewell???
