Saddle bag, modified Tusk tank bag
I got this Tusk tank bag on sale at Rocky Mountain ATV for like $15 when I was buying some other things. Many time the old Kawi needs more carrying space and I thought this looked like it would work well. I got it and had to enlarge the gas cap hole on one side because of the hinged lid on our bikes. Once I got it all mounted up and took it for a ride or two, I decided I needed to work something else out. The bags were all over my knees and not comfortable. I know some have mounted this bag at the back of the bike, across the frame, and under the seat. That sounded like a good spot but I wanted to be able to put the bags on and off quickly, and easily. My solution was velcro stuck to some nylon webbing that was screwed to the underside of the seat. You could just mount the velcro to the actual surface of the seat and save a few steps, but I wanted mine to be totally removable. If I did it again, I might mount the velcro directly to the seat, maybe.
Pictures pretty much tell the story.
Used some small bungees to help keep it in place.

It really did the job. Stayed on on some very rough terrain, and even stayed put when I laid the bike down once. I had a tool pouch in one side and two liter bottles of gasoline on the other side.
