Did a dual sport ride. What a blast!!
I can only find the older style in green, will keep looking. I know the old style ones bolt on, but don't look the same. Of course you could change other pieces to black also:

ddt the black looks good, but I don't know if I like it better, and I'm not looking to spend too much. There may be a thread in the near future about how to weld our polypropolene shrouds back together with the harbor freight plastic welder.
I was beat after two loops (but smiling). I went inside at the end and chowed down a chz burger and a bowl of chili, nothing ever tasted better. They handed out $405 to the winning poker hand (the poker run was a 50/50 deal, they gave the other $405 to the local volunteer fire dept for being on call during the event) gift certificates to second and third best hands, and then proceeded to hand out about 50 prizes randomly drawn from the field. Goggles, banners, grips, t-shirts, hats, etc etc. I didn't win squat, but like it says on the wall in the gym at my kids school "if you had fun, you won". After the awards presentation, I walked out to my muddy battered bike and fired her back up, and as I rode out of the parking area I got a few thumbs up from people packing up to head home. I think they were saying way to go, ride it here, ride it, and ride it home.
The same club hosted an enduro race this last Sunday on some of the same trails. The weather wasn't nearly as nice but they still had 110 riders. (237 of us rode in the dual sport) so there is still some riding going on.
Thanks for all the kind words.

100% agreed, I have never regretted taking too many pics. But I have often regretted not taking any or only a few.
i wish i woulda known about that! Im only bout 100 miles from there. How close is it to byron drag way? Hi Ryathis, Leaf River is the next town west of Byron on Rt.72. I'd say 5 miles west of Byron. I should have posted the announcement up before the ride, but I do everything late, or not at all. =) They do it every year in the fall. Where are you located?
