I have a TM36-68 sitting right next to me. You can bet this will be a fine tuned unit.

the listed link is a good tuning how to on a carb. (a good sticky). But that nice pdf is not a CV where the TM will be a good candidate possibly for the daj or the powerjet mods in which it is advertised, (http://www.jcwhitney.com/flat-slide-...65&zmap=25477G)

Maybe I am not understanding your post David R concerning your quote. Because a daj or powerjet works on the non CV's.

Talking

I see the confusion. It will be fine tuned machine a with out a dial a jet.

As you can see from the tuning guide, anything that carb needs can be adjusted with out adding a straw.

I can also tell you this TM36-68 made a big clunk when my girlfriend threw it out of bed.

David

Edit: thank you for the link, I bought mine off ebone

What about the POWER JET? A fuel adder that puts in raw fuel, just like the Dial-A-Jet, except the DAJ mixes a bit of air in too. I noticed that power jet part was listed right there with the carb in that ebay site. Looks like it sucks out of a straw too.
