Yeah, might be trouble, Trouble. (Great name by the way) You may get lucky and be able to fit it up somehow. Most bike parts are pretty model specific. When ordering stuff make sure it's for the exact model including all the letters and numbers. For example, A Honda XR650L shift lever fits our bikes, a Honda XR650 shift lever does not fit. Easy mistake to make.
Hope it works out, and if it does fit let us know, it would be valuable info for others that follow.

well I was planning on having it welded and installed professionally at my local exhaust shop, so if they cant figure out how to rig it so it works then I truly am SOL. I think it should just be the "pipe/tube" thing thats before the actual muffler that is different. I will absolutely you know how it works out.

as a side note I also got a megabomb header, anybody have sound clips of how this setup runs? I hear its really loud, like LOUD loud, I sure hope so...

The megabomb is supposed to quiet down your exhaust some, I've got the powerbomb and I like it so I think you will like what you got but it dosen't make it louder. If your Muffler fits it should take care of the sound you want though as I've heard one on these bikes and they are a little loud. As far as parts interchange goes the oil filter is the same as the ones for a Honda TRX250x or a TRX300EX 4 wheelers, I know as I've got both and it's all the same.

well after recieving the exhaust today I can confirm that the "midpipe" is different so to the exhaust shop it is...

to be specific the KX450R midpipe is straighter than the SF's with only one bend versus the SF's two.

Hi, I was wondering if you have a chance to look at the exhaust "muffler/tip" and telling me how long it is, reason is that I ordered one for a klx450r thinking it would fit the SF and instead of reselling and buying a whole other exhaust I want to have a "midpipe" custom made to fit. I was looking in-store and saw that they had short exhaust and long exhausts and am pretty sure that it is supposed to be the long exhaust but just wanted to double check...
