your on the wrong bike if you want to do long distance

Buy an ADV bike with the fuel capacity to do what you want.

That mod is about the funniest thing i have seen in ages.

Thanks for the laugh lol.

Cheers

The adventure is in the spirit of the trip, Deej pulled off a good long tour on his bike I intend to do some really long **** on mine. Two weeks on the road. Check out this adv rider,

I went to this link. It's COOl but when I typed in my bike, weight and other specs it just came back with:

OMG!!!! Remove both legs above the knee and re-enter specs.

WTF!!!

You and I suffer from the same affliction Deej. we're just 5 or 6 inches undertall.

Looks like a good mod for the occassion Deej! Necessity is the mother of invention and where there's a will, there's a way. Nicely done as well.

I don't know if anybody has mentioned it but you might want to get some of that rubber edge trim for around the tops. It will snug up the cans a bit and keep vibration and wear down.

Good luck

Geez I'm 5' 7" and I had to use lowering links and cut foam out of my seat.

There is no room for any trim around the edges, I have to push the can in to the space. Yes its that tight, I guess I'm just that good.

Really?..........Really? Remember the guy that drove the lawn mower across country? Do you think he had the wrong machine? Maybe, but he had fun, and that's what it's all about. How about having more than 11 posts before you tell me I have the wrong bike. I would ride this to Florida from Washington State without even hesitating.

Is it the wrong bike because its not a comfortable seat? or is it because the motor might blow up? Or is it the small fuel tank? Oh all of the above? Good because that's half the adventure there sparky.
