I wonder too, and I know somebody with webcams who would be interested in testing. Problem for now is dyno access...

Actually I'm tempted by the cam gear mod. May be in June...

Oh yes. ...Starts reliably hot or cold... No fuel spill when laying the bike down... Better fuel economy when cruising, while still having all the power that 250cc can do... and more.

My FI conversion is now four years old and so far, it works like a charm. Except once, where the ecu stopped working, fortunately not far from home. A carburetor is simpler and more reliable, but I am willing to sacrifice this in my case.

I did not try it myself, but there are a few 351 owners who did. They all report noticeable umph, as do many 250 owners with our cdi, though nobody I know has solid results on a dyno.

I intended to return on the dyno myself last fall, then again with a 300cc bore, but this has been delayed due to other priorities. I expect to do it before the end of this summer.

Cheers

Harrison, we are out of stock presently for 2006-2007 model cdi. We only have a few left for 2009+ (they don't have the same connectors). New units will be available around Feb. 21.

Note that Australian bikes don't have the same connectors on the cdi as North American ones. You will need some wiring work, we can provide the mating female connectors to help that. But if you would be ready to do some wiring work, you might as well adapt the one for 2009 and after...

Yes, that's the one, except it is for 2009+ bikes. 2006-2007 model years don't have the same connector on the cdi. Other than that, they are the same.
