Inverted forks are not stock on that bike. I wonder what they came off of.

Add a full FMF exhaust system, and it looks like an aftermarket tank and tall seat.

Justgastanks has a 7.4 gallon (!!!) safari tanker for this bad boy.

I saw the same bike listed on Craigslist in Albuquerque, I contacted the seller and the bike is located in Alabama she is in up north, Dakota I think. The add appeared to show a map to a local Albuquerque location. She is advertising the bike a various locations, which makes me a little nervous. She also has a sad story which; the bike was her husbands and he was killed in Afghanistan. It could be legitimate. It is said to be a KLX400R and its off road designation might be a problem with registering and plating it in my state.

If that's the case, definitely a scam. I read about that same story on another forum but didn't link the bikes.

Beware of CL scammers! I've always had good luck with CL. But the old adage holds. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Another scam to watch for; I heard a local guy sold his bike with craigslist. Signed the title over after the cash was exchanged. The bills turned out to be counterfeit. I think I will get one of those pins stores use to test for fake bills when I sell anything.

I had this same bike way back in the 80's. I bought it new in 1984 for $1049. It was a left over from 1982.

1982 Yamaha xt200 They want $250 more then what I paid for it new.

I T-Boned a Black Lab and went over the bars, messed up me and the bike pretty bad. I should pick this one up for old time memories.

Found an old Bighorn 350 on ebay (not craigslist, I know!) which looks awesome. I wonder what the reserve is, not that I can afford it...
