Nice pics bill. With how desolate the area where you ride is I can see why you have that gps on the bars. Props for the springfield 40 I got one too. I hope to do a lot of the getting on the bike and taking of for the day real shortly

Great photos, Bill - those wild hogs were pretty cool. I've always heard those things are really dangerous animals and you don't want to corner one. Your bike looks awesome, BTW!
Very true. Feral pigs and boars are a big problem in Texas. They're considered vermin and can be hunted in any season. I got in over my head real quick not knowing there was more in the pipe. And as you know, a wild animal that doesn't beat it out of there when they sense a human, is probably sick or injured. Either way not too good. I had a Springfield XD .40 in the tankbag if it got hairy(er).

And thanks!

(edited for typos)

Nice piece!

Whats the choice of ammo for fending off some wild hogs?

I'd use 155 grain XTP's, if I could pack a XD 40, but thats only if
185 grain JHP, Winchester is what's in the magazines at the moment.

Nice pics, I love the rear fender and black sidepanels. Are you running the C858 rear tire? If so how do you like it so far, I'm loving mine.
Thanks, man. I really like my C858. I have around 1200 miles on it right now, split between dirt and pavement and it's holding up great as far as wear.

Traction is great in everything that I ride. I know some people have gone with a larger than stock tire size, but I think the stock size works best with the power the KLX makes (or doesn't make). I like to be able to spin the rear wheel with the throttle when needed to drift through fast dirt corners, etc. A larger tire won't spin as much, if at all. I'll prob. get another one when I wear this out. Can't beat the price either!
