Coolant Overflow Tank Hose Clogged?
Why do you guys think :
My over flow tank was bone dry but the radiator was filled to the neck with coolant. I have rode the bike like that for a few days and no coolant has made it's way the over flow tank.
Today I just did a coolant flush and when I filled the radiator and over flow tank with water and ran the bike to flush...but the water in the overflow tank did not decrease or increase. Is this normal ? Should my overflow tank raise and lower with coolant when the engine is at operating temp or cooling down. Could my overflow tank hose be clogged ?

This engine has a hard time making hot water and there is really very little water in the whole system. So the rise and fall in water temperature is not going to produce much delta in the amount of water volume.
Just fill the radiators, fill the overflow to the mark, and your good to go. If you ever overheat your engine to the point where the rad cap releases, you may see a change in volume of the overflow tank, I never have. Oh ya, I ride in AZ, so it is a little hot here sometimes.
