Two brothers slip on is LOUD.
If new comes with warranty, its still a no brainer. New is better.
I paid 3,045.00 out the door for a used 09 in total stock mint condition with 2.000 miles on it in september. It now has 8,600 miles on it.

Now I see what you paid, I am getting a new one out the door with tax and tags for 3549.50, I think that is a great price for this area. I have been looking at bikes for about three weeks and this was by far the best deal I have physically found period.

I have found a lot of bikes around for good prices, but I still have to travel three hours to get to them. I am going with the new bike. I put a deposit on it and I will be picking it up on Saturday.
Also, I am glad to here you fit the bike nice, I was kind of afraid after a few hundred miles I would feel like it was too small. I am going to be riding in town though and the fastest speed limit is 50mph in the area I will be.

The only thing I would save my pennies for ( besides all the engine mods ) is suspension. The bikes are a little soft, especially for guys our size. I did my suspension and it made a huge difference.
Stock will work, but heavier springs and better valves make it a lot better.
The Two Bros is LOUD! I have it, and if time/money allows, I'll replace it with a different aftermarket pipe/system some day.
I paid 3100.00 out the door for a slightly used '09 SF in Feb with 1200 miles on it. Sounds like your new price is a decent deal.
It's a fun little bike!
Yeah, that is a great price you got for a new one.

Moto Pro Suspension or Race Tech suspension will hook you up if you want to tackle it by yourself.
I went with a MX shop and had them do the work. I have done everything else on my bike but don't know anything about suspension.

Headed to pick up my new 2009 KLX250SF. It is about three hours from the house, my wife is taking me and I am riding it home. It is all back roads. I will post pictures tonight.
