Default Company in Canada doing the Big Bore Kit?

Does anyone know of a company doing a BB kit for the KLX 250? I'm was going to buy the Bill Blues kit but with the dollar the way it is pt it over $750 without the exchange. Could a machine shop bore out your existing cylinder and sleeve it? Also thought Kawasaki offered something?

Kawasaki offer a 300cc kit, it's considerably cheaper down under than BB kits but not as much bang for your buck.....

The Auzi dollar is roughly on part with the Canadian dollar. Couldn't imagine what you shipping would be. You would think an Australian company would be building a kit.

I did mine about 6 months ago, after I got the new kit I sent back my old cylinder. Bill was quick sending out the 175US refund via money order.

Haven't heard of any one here in Canada doing anything... But it is nice to get the complete kit from BB, it's plug and play..

When I did mine a few years ago the Kawasaki kit and Bill Blue's were around the same price.

Why would they, not enough demand.

So what would shipping be on a Bill Blue kit to Australia? I doubt it would be viable to send the old cylinder back to get $175 back. I know that shipping between Australia and the US has got more expensive and slower in recent years. The UK seems to be the best place for Aussies to get parts at the moment for price, shipping and delivery time.

I'm not sure, check with Bill, there may be a distributor up there.

It was around $60 when I did mine but like you said it's all gone up.
