A good introduction with great scenery could be Italian Creek, Tincup, and even American Flag if you take the easier route from Italian Creek and not the other side. And frankly, you should probably be good doing Tomichee and Hancock as a loop. This is a funny area. It probably has some of the more challenging 2-track passes collected in one general area than most other places in Colorado. A lot people hear the term 2-track, jeep roads/passes and think "cakewalk". Some of the singletrack in this area is really challenging. I don't even tackle it anymore for the most part. When you're warmed up you can do the Pearl Pass/Taylor Pass route if you choose. I won't do Taylor anymore, as I just don't like that many rocks and boulder sections...too hard for an old man.

And there's a whole lot more trails in this area, of course.

Anyone free and want to go riding with me in Colorado? I just found out my buddy broke his wrist yesterday and more than likely won't be able to go.
