I put stabil in both bikes tanks and rode them to my ol mans heated garage and let the klx carb run dry and just followed the instructions on my zrx(no fuel shut off). They get moved around enough in there so the tires aren't just sitting in one spot.My yz and ttr just sit in my unheated garage and didn't do anything to eitherThey're on the way out anyways. My ct90 is bone dry at this point and ready for a collectors garage and the ol man takes care of the puch.Maybe I should try to start my 4whlr as it's been sitting for a yr and a half

Haha, my quad (2001 rubicon 500) sat for a year and a half when i was deployed to afghanistan, and stupid me forgot todrain the carb before i left (had a couple other things on my mind other than the quad). I tried starting it when i got home, and itobviously didn't...You should have seen the jelly like mess in there when I tookthe carbapart to clean it. Runs good now though!

I never drained the carb in my whlr so I don't know how bad the carb is,I should just sell it,I don't ride it anymore because the stupid new maine atv laws. One of them is you have to research and get written permission for any persons property you may happen onto and if you get caught you get a trespass violation/fine that goes against your drivers lic.The land owner can get your plate # and turn it in and they harass you.

F That! Are the yuppies taking over the state? Why would you have to register a vehicle if you are riding on your own or private land?

vlodpg, or you can ship it down here to Arizona and I'll make sure it stays plenty warm!

AZ would be a nice place for the winter. The locals would be freezing & I would be chilling out in the 70-80 degree weather, swimming in the pools, up at the Ben Avery range doing some shooting, looking for this place that made the best Mex burritos for like $3 (Filberto's) I think it was called.
I stayed with my brother when he lived out there back in the 90's around N19th & Thunderbird.

Ah! Just thinking of the warmth makes me happy

But if I have to stay here in the cold, so does my KLX [>:]

If is someone was just so kind enough to have a extra bike & would like some riding company, I could see fit to do a red-eye flight to Phoenix for a weekend ofwarm weather riding!
