Default Clutch cable adjustment

I have noticed that when I am turning tight to the left going slow enough to have to slip the clutch that I have to let the clutch lever out much further than when I am going straight or turning left. This has caused me to fall a few times when turning around on a trail. I watched the clutch arm on the top of the right hand cases as I turn the bars and sure enough it moves. I have tried rerouting the cable and adjusting it but no luck. has anyone else had this problem? It is annoying as hell.

Something's definitely wrong with that. I would have the dealer look at it. It should be under warranty. Maybe it's the wrong cable or made too short. Mine an '07 but no issues.

I think a longer cable would do the trick.

Sounds like its not routed properly and/or not adjusted properly. But you have checked that.

Try and get a look at another bike if you can.

Have you raised the handlebars? I checked mine before the bar raise - no problem, after the bar raise - longer cable required.
