Default Clutch and Brake line orientation

Hi all.

I fitted new bars christmas day and noticed that the bit of heat shrink on the front brake line between the clear hard and black soft hose/cover had worn through.

I bent the white brake line guide forward a bit and put some electrical tape on the top of the clear hose to stop moisture getting inside and thought nothing more of it.

Last night I was having a look in the service manual for the 09 model (which is what I have) and it shows the clutch line running above the brake line. I swapped it over after seeing this in the manual.

But (time for the question/reason for the post) I was wondering how these lines sit on every ones bike's and if you have had similar issues with rubbing hoses (And how you fixed it)?

A quick look at photos on here shows a mixture of cables routed with the clutch on top and other with the brake line on top.

Cheers
Paul

Rubbing hoses. Haven't tooken any notice of that on my KLX. Thou I do know on the left side (front brake) brake line, my GPS does rub a little on that shrink wrap on the plastic tube.

I moved mine a bit from stock when I fitted new bars. Don't remember how but here is the set up now. No binding on lock to lock and I can see the rev' counter/speedo' really clearly now. A small rubbing on the front brake line from the GPS cradle is now solved as I've relocated the GPS.
