Default Choke won't stay open

When I pull the choke open to start the bike it no longer stays open by itself, I have to hold it open by hand. It started doing this the day after I brought it home from the dealer. It doen't matter if the bike is warm, or if it's a cold start. Is there some sort of friction adjustment screw to adjust so it will stay open until you push it closed?

Thanks

Yes there is either a nut around the shaft or the black rubber boot around it just tighten it up a bit till it stays in...... I have not looked at mine yet but that is how most of them work

Thanks, I did pull the rubber boot back and I saw the nut that the choke shaft goes thru, it's so tight in there though I couldn't get anything on it lol. I'll have the carb out soon to do the mods so I'll do it then.

The choke on mine moves freely and then you can pull it farther and it will latch I guess I would call it. For the most part though, after the carb mods you just need to pull the choke out a bit to start it initially and then just push it back in after it starts.
