Checked my tire pressure today...

Deej, do you get into any tight, fast, single track with lots of roots, and rocks? If you do, you should get rim locks and run low pressure, you will never go back. Trust me
20 + psi might be fine for what you ride, really it all depends on how aggressive you are, and what type of terrain you are riding.

I race this thing off-road, there is nothing wrong with 20 psi in a knobby. Yes, you'll get better traction at 12 but you will also be the guy failing to finish the race because you got a flat.
20 psi all the time, UHD tubes, rimlocks, and slime in both tires. Since I started equipping bikes like this several years ago I have never gotten a flat.

Good luck!

I run 15 in my race bikes, and they're 100 lbs lighter than the KLX. I also see no problem with 20 psi. I will experiment with different pressures now that I have the rim locks, but so far, 20 psi seems to have worked the best.

Get the name right...there's no "E" in IDRIDR
And don't call me Steve.
redpillar - your tires had zero air pressure. They're now filled to 22.4 front and 25.7 rear psi. Let me know when you're ready and I'll send them back.
