I've replaced my orginal OEM battery. Since it was pushing 4 years and the battery showed signs of a weakened state. So I replaced it with an Interstate just before winter settled in. Because the KLX needs all the juice it can get to get started in the cold weather.

Yeah, if you run the KLX stock, the batt should last a long time. MY CCA has dropped way off now, but I've been running aftermarket cams since 2007 (no ACR). Working the batt that hard, I'm surprised mine lasted this long. Wanted to try the shorai lithium, but they're always out of stock. Time to spring for a good old $200.00 Yuasa.

i put a big crank battery in my KLR. They come fully charged and are AGM sealed.
Kawasaki KLX250S (2006 - '10) Motorcycle Batteries - BigCrank.com
mm..... the one for the KLR was more than 36$ Looks like ill be ordering a battery for the KLX soon.

Those look worth a try, but the ordering menu's not APO (military overseas)friendly. Guess I'll contact them to see if they're willing to work with me.

hmmmm $69 for the ST1300, not bad really. Thanks for the link Eric! I'll bookmark that fo shiznit......did I say that right? LOL

I got a couple batterys from them. Worked good for me.
