Default Cargo rack

Hey all............. I just bought the '07 KLX 300R........ love it........ but I'm jealous of the 250S and 650's cargo rack. Does anyone know if the 250's rack will fit my 300 ? Or an after market one ?? I've spoken with the dealer and they couldnt get me an answer. ... and..... Ive spent some time looking at aftermarket sites with no luck .
I just need some storage space somehow........I'm also cool with any kind of bags........... help me if ya can ! Thanks.

I'm going to move your post to the klx section. Some good people down that way, and they can help you out better..

be wary of the rear sub frame regarding weight, its pretty fragile, bags maybe a better way to go as they spread the weight better if your inclined that way

Look at the Wolfman bags http://www.wolfmanluggage.com/. They were tested on a KLX300R. They have a couple of nice tail bags that would work great and the quality is top notch. I have the Enduro Tank Bag and it fits perfect.

Hey Ginsu, I really liked that Wolfman Enduro tank bag you had on your bike in your ride report and I just bought one, but it hasn't arrived yet. I've heard lots of good things about their products in general, also. I can't wait to try it out. Hey, just because I can't ride doesn't mean I have to stop spending money on my bike

Healing up pretty good, today is three weeks and I have a dr appt this thursday so they can poke and prod me some more. Hopefully I'll find out then whether or not the bones have rejoined on their own. I don't really want a pin or a plate, but the doc said that would be a last resort if they don't come together on their own.

Jeepphamilee:

They tested the the expedition series and the enduro series that I know of. The small expedition tank bag is pictured on the 300 on their website. I think they have a tank bag specifically designed for the KLR650 also.

Nobrakes:

You will LOVE that bag. It fits perfect. A little hassle to get gas but you will figure that out in no time. You might want to grab the rain cover. I know mine is NOT waterproof and I'm going to need the raincover soon. I still can't believe how much stuff I can cram in there not to mention the stuff I can fit on top from a quick run to the store. It was alot to spend on a bag but now I feel it was worth every penny. Wish I had those saddle bags now and a duffle oh ya the toolkit too.......ahhhh.

Ryan.

Actually, I had the rain cover in my cart but removed it at the last minute. I was very close to getting it, but I'll probably pick one up eventually. What I wish we had was a cup holder I'd like to swing by Starbucks for a coffee, but there's no way to carry it home [&:] Has anyone adapted a cup holder to fit?
