You end up with ammo can paniers[8D]
I kinda wanted to have more cargo area as i go camping and what not alot and would like to use the bike. So the solution was easy, take 2 .50BMG ammo cans i had and fab up some brakets to mount em to the bike. They should give me enough room for food clothes and the camera for some touring. Then just strap the tent and cot acrost then rear seat and ill be good to go...

Haha... I dig it! Now you just need to paint your bike in camo to match.[8D]

This is the traveling/storage route I took:

It's just my Garmin Nuvi GPS navigation. It is actually attached to the handlebar, not the tank.

The mount is made by Ram mounts. The cradle and mount cost around $30. It works fine, but I cannot use the original car charger that came with my Garmin Nuvi 660 since that one plugs into the back of the OEM Nuvi dock. So I had to buy a different charging cord at $20. But now I am all set!

Nice, how does the charger plug/wire into the battery?

I wired a cigarette lighter socket in the tail section of the bike. Its not very pretty, but gets the job done. The original goal was to mount the socket somewhere inside the upper fairing, but I could not find a suitable placement for it.
