i seen some people have been drilling a bigger hole in there slide and plugging some holes for free on there klx anyone have some pictures on how this is done and what the purpose of this is is there anything else that is low buck to do to this thing untill i get my big bore kit

 

You you don't need to plug any holes unless you have the Aussie KLX.

Drilling the air bleed hole next to the needle improves throttle response. Take a look at the mod sticky at the top of the page. There's some info in there.

 

I never did any of the free mods. Not sure why, I guess I just wanted the bike to stay as stock as possible...well besides the pipe, jets and the gear changes. Oh by the way, welcome to the forums. I need to make a master list of all the KLX owners on here. We are taking over the world one KLX at a time.

What year is that Quadracer? I had an 85 in 1987, bought it used and had to throw in a new piston and rings. That looks just like the one I had. I had the LT250R Nice man!
