Here is a video I found about us desert folks out here in So Cal, It is based on the 100MC, which is a AMA district 37 off road racing club, one of many, if yourace desert you want to belong to a club! The desert gets mighty lonely if you break down[

That was fun! Did the guy on the Kawi win? The only thing missing was the jumping cholla cactus, prickly pear, spanish dagger, agave, ocotillo, saguaro, gray thorn, cat claw bushes we have here in the Sonoran desert - Ouch!
