Well, everything went smoothly - a 2006 KLX w/2300 miles is now in my garage. The guy was very thorough with everything, his garage was immaculate. I like to see that when buying something that has been modded.
I rode it for a few minutes at his house, it runs strong, felt very peppy and revvy, I'm happy w/the power. I'm not sure if the carb is set up right, it was backfiring alot, and there was some soot on the license plate.. gotta ask some Q's over in the pumper carb thred.

Here's the full list of mods my $3045 bike came with:
--Keihin FCR35 - was bought off a guy who had it on a KLX300, jetting is the same still.
--Vortex short throw throttle
--4strokeworks header, KLX300 muffler. - sounded good and deep, tractor like, not too loud
--2 tooth smaller rear sprocket - for highway cruising I guess. The stocker is in the box'o parts the guy gave me.
--Acerbis 3.7 gal tank - (Not sure I like this thing)
--Lightened flywheel - his machinist friend took 2 lbs off supposedly.
--Skidplate - not sure of brand
--Acerbis bark busters
--Front disk guard
--he threw in a set of street tires

Basically most of the things I would have wanted to do anyway! - I'm stoked!! Got the insurance squared away first thing this morning, got to get her plated hopefully by this weekend.
