Default Bought a KLX300 cylinder. What gasket kit do I need?

Pulled the trigger on a KLX300R cylinder today. Should I order a top end gasket kit for the KLX300R or the KLX250S?

Base gasket for both is the same. The 250 cylinder is thicker to the inside of the bore, so the gasket dimensions are the same. I see you mention a "kit". The only different gasket is the head gasket to fit the 300 cylinder. The heads are basically the same. Here's a good resource.

Get the 300 gaskets. The 250 head gasket will protrude into the 300 bore.

The plating looks a little bit worn at the top of the cylinder.

Who does quality plating for the best price? I used PowerSeal a couple years ago on a KX125, it was $184.

Also the bike only has 4800 miles. Should I go ahead and have the valve seals replaced & maybe grind the valves too?

THey don't have prices listed and won't open for several hours. Anyone know what they charge for plating on a 300cc cylinder?
