Cool A Boring Thread

Hey Folks, Just ordered a 351 kit and am rather excited about it. I'll send my stock cyl back for one of you. Talked to Bill Blue this morning and he said some are having a tuff time finding Gasgacinch. I ordered some from Chaparral, only 5$ for 4oz. Later !

Cool, i need to get some and I was wondering where to get it. Thanks. Did BB tell you he is almost out of cyclinders? When I bought mine a week ago, he was down to three.

Yes, he did say he only had a few. Thank You to all of you for your info about the Big Bore. Hopefully I will have time to install it soon. I guess I'll just make time. My bike needs about 30 minutes button up time from having installed HID bulbs. Had to fab a few things. Any of you needing a good waterproof switch should check out TrailTech. Small button type on-off for less than 10$.

I'm back, with some manners. armycopter, you're welcome. As far as the HIDs, I replaced the H3 style bulbs in my already mounted pair of 4" PIAAs. Then I needed a daytime running light and mounted a small Trail Tech HID flood. Name of company was DDM Tuning [for the H3s] They have lots of types of HIDS. Only 100$ for the pair including small thin ballasts and strikers. Check it out. They have a H4 w/ hi-lo if you want to keep your stock light housing. My buddy and I like to ride up in the mountains on trails at night and he has an 8" HID. Hard to keep a low profile w/ that around town during the day. Keep in mind that if you go HID, it's more than just the bulb. It was a challenge to fit 2 ballasts and strikers and then wire up some relays and fuses and switches, but I enjoy that sort of thing. Good luck if you go that way, sh!tloads of light is way cool.
