That and it does clean up the engine compartment quite a bit by getting rid of all the emissions stuff.

It makes taking the tank off or the valve cover off a whole lot quicker and easier.

It really isn't that complicated. If I remember correctly, a smaller hose comes off your carb to the Air Pump ( which sits right on top of the valve cover/spark plug ). Another medium size hose comes from your air box to the Air pump. Then from the air pump it goes in another decent size hose over to the front of the cylinder head. So I believe there are three vacuum lines involved total. Cap these three lines and you are set.
