No problem, you've adopted the Finger Mullet warehouse mod approach, "We do it right because we do it twice" sometimes three times

Hey Nobrakes,

Nice job on the seat. Could you tell me the make and model # of the helmet you are wearing? I am in the market for a new one and yours looks good. Thanks.

My helmet is a Thor SVR3 Reed replica. This is not where I got it, but the price looks right - 2nd one down:

I also have a street helmet I like a lot - a Shoei Z-Two. It's much more comfortable and quiet than the MX helment and good for communting or when I'll be riding in an area where I'll be getting good air flow.

If you get blood on the foam, don't worry it will be covered [:@]

This forum is getting exiting!!! This is the first bloody post I've seen. I didn't realize that Nobrakes was into that self-mutilation stuff.

My local hardware store has an electric carving knife for $12. I've used it to cut foam and it is worth every penny. I suspect that it would not survive production use, but mine has lasted long enougn to modify several seats.

Of course, now we have a friggin hurricane warning and it's raining buckets here so I can't do a long test ride ... looks like the weekend might be shot, too due to the forecast. Hoping for blue skies ...
