Birthday ride in Colorado
Hello All,
Just got back from a week's vacation in Colorado, where we set up a 31 Ft. fifth wheel trailer on our property. OnJuly 2nd,Jo Ann, Bake & I rodeour KLX 250s from ourplace 22 miles southeast of Buena Vista on a 5 pass ride,Cottonwood, Cumberland, Waunita, Black Sage,& Monarchthen back to our place fora total of 127 miles. I rejetted Bake's bike& my bikedown 10% on main jet.Jo Ann's bike didn't need jetting, all of us are running my TM34 Mikuni carbs. The bikes ran great.
On July 4th,my 64th, birthday, Jo Ann & I rode 138 miles on back roads, highway & singletrack.

RE: Birthday ride in Colorado
Happy Birthday, Bill. I knew you were going, but didn't know it was a Dual Purpose trip, ride and birthday celebration, that is. JoAnn sounds like quite a gal if she followed you two guys around in those mountains. I'm glad you got to test the carbs out at altitude too. I suppose you can write that trip off now as research.
Glad you all made it home safely.
