Default A zx7r and a vfr800 from colorado to baja and back

As many of you know... Elizabeth and I will be leaving for Baja
California (for those of you that are not in the know... Baja
California is in Mexico NOT California) on saturday. My question is:
"when is this snow going to stop?" the 10 day forcast changes every
hour, the snow starts and stops and starts again... in all honesty,
i'd really just prefer not to die on this trip so, everyone do a
snow-go-away dance for us please.

we'll be heading south to los alamos, NM... then to phoenix the next
day... then west to L.A.... the 3 days following we'll be in Baja.
From there, we'll make our way back to L.A. After that, we thought we
might try to take a different route depending on how much time we
think we can waste. Any suggestions? we'd like to hit up Vegas. and
of course, the road from taos to I-25 (can't remember the name right
now)... but, other suggestions are always welcome.

I just received my Fog City amber face shield for my helmet... very
cool and inexpensive... should make the trip more bearable (I can't
wear sunglasses in my helmet... headaches)

We also received our Tork intercom systems that work with the frs/gmrs
handheld walkie talkies that everyone uses for skiing and such. they
were 50 bucks a piece including shipping. so far, they are awesome
and, money well spent. They should also make the trip more bearable.

tomorrow is my last day of classes. Then, friday, I'll be getting the
bikes ready for the trip. oil change, chain clean/lube, etc.
Saturday, we will leave! Yes, we are excited. But, damn this snow!!!

all suggestions on places to go and roads to ride are greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a good trip bro. You will like the Fogcity face shield insert I have used them before and they are sweet.

Sorry about the spot in Rosarito, if I were going to be there I would tell you to come by and crash but it is my partner and his kids. Oh well maybe next time.

You taking your computer, if so check in and update us on the trip.

Good luck, Mike

won't be taking the computer as my solo seat makes it difficult enuf to pack without it. but, there will be plenty of pics to see when it's all over! hey MadKaw! do us a snowgo dance. and evil... if you bring your shotgun out to the highway maybe you can just waste me as i ride by... then, like i said, you might be able to pry the 7r from my cold lifeless fingers. hehe

ohhhhh, when is saturday ever going to arrive?

Awesome ride... If you are takin I 10 across, swing up through hoover dam. To get tot the dam from 10, you'll see the signs, it an awesome liitle road, with some sweet twisities, and awesome scenery. Won't tkae you too far out of the way. On the way back, maybe trough the flaggstaff area, if they don't have snow. A little out of the way tho' ...... On I10. as soon as you cross into AZ, there is a petrified forrest, that's kinda cool to check out. The road from Taos into 25 is cool.. Hiway 81 is a nice road also N of flagstaff.. Ride 'er safe, can't wait to see pics!! Is it Saturday yet?????
