I think you have a fuel issue. I would drain & clean the tank, install fuel filter, drain the carb bowl and clean the carb.
Or, someone took the carb apart and the slide diaphram is messed up.

Well, this may be more involved.
Since you did the easy stuff... ha. I am thinking there is a switch for the neutral position somewhere, maybe in the tranny or in the side cover (?) that lets the ignition/computer know it's position. This may be out of adj? When all this is happening, do you notice if the neutral light comes on or flashes?
If you have bad fuel from the gas stations in your area??? If you do, you should add one, a lot easier than pulling the carb.

Yeah right I'll look at getting a little In line filter then I'll go for a ride this arvo and check out the light and what exactly happens. Might research the transmission a bit before I start pulling that apart

Perhaps check all the connections relating to the clutch, sidestand and neutral switches. Easier than tearing into the transmission.

Tin, my post was more of a suggestion, I have no experience with this component. Perhaps someone that has been into the motor case has some input or definitive information on this idea.

Doesn't seem to do It anymore since all valves been adjusted and car by cleaned only done it that once and not again went for a ride bout 2 hrs yesterday arvo and was fine sounded better after valves done and has a bit more go in it so might leave the stalling problem see If it happens again thanks for everyone's help
