Bike sat a couple years. Crank won't turn by wrench...

yeah, pull the side covers first. PS... I locktite the dowels

I know it's been another two years since I worked on this, but I still haven't got around to completing it.
Someone recommended pouring diesel into the case and sloshing it around to see if the possible dowel pin in there would get carried toward the drain plug. I tried that and nothing made its way through when I drained it all out.
I also tried fishing down there some more with a flexible magnet but nothing is still coming out.
I really don't know for sure if the pin is even down in there, but I'm wondering if I should take it apart just to make sure.

its prolly stuck in the drive gear/cam chain/tensioner stuff. if it went all the way to the bottom I don't think it stop the crank. either that or it wouldn't move. if it went down the alternator area it will be stuck to the rotor

I locktite those buggers in

Yeah, will do when I find it.
Do you think I have to pull the motor and shake it upside down to get it out?

Also, I've lost the PDF service manual I had on this bike. Does anyone have a copy they can send me?
