I am wondering if someone know if any compagny make or will make a larger gas tank for the klx 250 2009

Not a lot for the 09 as far as I know.
Not sure id any of these can be made to fit.

My understanding it the Acerbis can be made to fit, but it blocks the choke from being pulled out all the way, you have to hold it. Also the design of the tank keeps the gas in the front of the wings from being usable.

 

tomn got the most of it, also the brace can mess up the tabs for the radiator to the frame in a good crash. but having 3.3 USEABLE gallons is great.

 

I have not found a simple solution to this problem for my 09. I currently take a 2 gallon Rotopax fixed to my back rack when I go on long rides through the bush, or on fire roads in our area.

I bought their mount too, it is kinda expensive but.. oh well. Nice design.

I got the water tank and the gas tank

 

Hey Slapdrum, I like the water container. I was thinking of putting a 1 gal water container on top of the gas, could be an option to carrying it on my back. Where abouts in So. Cal, I winter in Yuma, AZ.
