Default Best Price for OE side covers

I am trying to find best price for 06 R sidecover or number plate. The left one is still shiney but the previous owner started sanding the right one and was going to paint it.
Seeing prices of 68 to $72.00. Do after market plastics fit as sano as the oem?

Thanks, Steve

I am seeing them at bike bandit and chaparral i have not checked MR honda. If you trash one, save the heat shields etc. these are shown as separate $$parts.
Prices all close so-far 68-72$. Not sure of year/model differences and no knowledge of ufo and acerbis or other aftermarket fitment quality.

Thx for the tip. I picked up some green ones on eBay today for $22. No idea of condition - I figured even if I have to respray it's worth it. I searched for klx "side panels"

Try a heat gun on your sanded plastic. I've heard the heat can bring the shine back out.

Thanks for heat tip-I am going to try and fine sand to 600 or higher in small area. He left it in what looks like 220-320 finish. Go to heat application and armorall type material to finish. We'll see.
