+1 on pelican case. I also considered a small Givi case used on scooters... maybe 20 liters or so.

Not bad. I first noticedyour bag on a HMF thread. Does it mount easily to the rack? It's pretty big, does it droop when empty?

FM, it doesn't droop if empty (it's made of a very rigid ballistic material along with internal padding) and has a high impact plastic plate on the bottom which makes it easy to mount on the rack. I only bring the pack when I'm going on long rides of 75+ miles.

 

All I can find is the one with the pannier bags. I don't think they have your model anymore??

That's the one, the panniers are inside the side pockets which I removed.
