I was not planning on getting spoilers. I just want to be sure that I don't have to cut my levers or otherwise replace them when using the Acerbis Rally Pro's.
Thanks,
db

Are you sure? The reason I ask is yesterday I was going to install the Rally Pro's and started with the clutch side. Either the bike has extra long levers (maybe were replaced as we bought it used) or it looks like some cutting is in order! The ball would rub on the handguard from what I could see....How can I tell if the levers are stock?
Thanks,
db

Yes I'm sure. Actually you have to move the clutch and brake perch in a little, but that's easy to do. Loosen up the mirror and clutch and brake perch and you might have to grind off a little nub on the switches, but everything will adjust in and after you get the hand guards mounted then you can move them back, leaving about 1/4 inch of space between the lever ***** and the guards.

I moved all the clutch side stuff but it looked like it wasn't going to be right for some reason...I guess I need to revisit it. We have the stock handle bars. It seemed the switch housing would have got in the way after moving the clutch lever. What "nub" on the switches are you referring to?
Thanks,
db

Yea my bars are the stock ones too. What I meant by the "nub" was on my wife's bike there was asmall **** on the underside of one or both of the switches (turn sw and the starter sw that fit into a notch in the bars I had to dremel it off so it would slide out of thenotch (if there is one) and move it a little. On my bike, I don't remember having that issue. So try moving the mirrors, and then the stuff next to them and see if you can find the right balance. Maybe a picture might help.

I am looking at putting the rally pro hand guards on my bike. It looks like there are three different type of install kits. Does anyone know which install kit I will need for the KLX?
