Thunderchild, did you have to re-route any lines with that CR HIGH bar?

Nope. They went right on with no problems. The front brake line does cover the speedo a bit, but in the heat of battle I don't notice it too much. You can also see from the picture that the left hand cable from the headlight switch, etc is a bit tight. It doesn't get any tighter lock to lock though. I could prob. work some slack into it if I tried, just haven't messed with it yet.

Thunderchild.....NICE!!!!!!

That's my setup too, except GREEN!! CR HIGH is just about stock just a tad bit higher...NO??

I put the black handguards on too.......I'll snap some pics as soon as I get my front tire on (it's kicking my BUTT)

Just remember when you change to new bars, you'll have to grind down some small nubs on some of the control mounts or it wont fit flush!! Stock bars have holes to accept those nubs...............

Nice

Thanks, man. Post some pictures of that bad boy when you get the news bars on.

Yes, CR High bend is just an inch or so higher.

Funny , I took the Renthal CR Highbend back to the store because they were the same as my stock ones. I had to buy the ATV Renthals Raptor 650 to get the heigth i needed. Just move some wired behind the headlight and you are ok. I moved my Cluch cable to the other side of my speedo cable to get some extra length.

Good deal on your Moose bars. I paid $89.00 for my Renthals. Us Canadians get screwed on prices all the time. I have ordered from the Motorcycle Superstore but shipping and taxes on a $18.00 item was over $40.00.
Sounds like you got screwed by UPS Canada and their outragous brokerage fee practices, not by the Motorcycle Superstore. Anything shipped to Canada by UPSis guaranteed to be a rip-off, which is why there's a class action suit against them. (USPS and FedEx can charge brokerage fees and taxes, but neither of them have ever charged me anything.I read somewhere that USPS does a hand-off to Canada Post, who has a flat $5brokerage fee, but I guess it's not worth the hassle and paperwork for them to collect it.)

Check with the vendor about shipping options before placing an order. If they only ship via UPS, then cross that vendor off your list. Other vendors carry the same products, and maybe the price is higher, but its still a bargain compared tothe hefty percentage thatUPSpiles on.

I phoned in an order to the Motorcycle Superstore and requested they ship by USPS. Its cheaper, and takesslightly longer, but at least they don't extort you with COD brokerage fees while they hold yourmerchandise hostage at your own front door.

Moral of the story: Don't "Oops!" with UPS!
